IGNOU Assignment 2024-25: Submission Last Date – The IGNOU Assignment Question Paper is now available for Download for TEE Session December 2024 as well as TEE June 2025. IGNOU Assignment Submission Last Date is 30th September 2024 which is applicable for TEE December 2024 students. Therefore, the students who going to appear in TEE December 2024 should download and submit their IGNOU Assignment before the last date.

After getting admission to IGNOU University, all candidates have to download and submit only the latest session assignments for their selected programs. The candidates can download the IGNOU assignment question paper for each course from here after their admission is confirmed by the university. Furthermore, it is required for students to submit the required assignments to appear in the IGNOU term end examinations. IGNOU Assignment Weightage in 2024

IGNOU Assignments have 30% weighted in each IGNOU program so candidates can’t ignore it. They have to write the best assignment solution to get higher marks in the result and it also increases their performance report in their grade card. The program will be marked as incomplete without submission of the IGNOU Assignment so you must complete and submit the assignments before the due date.

In assignments, you must get 40% marks for passing, and thereafter you can fill IGNOU Exam Form to appear in the TEE Examination. For e.g. if the assignment has total marks of 100 then students have to get at least 40 marks to pass out .

• For the IGNOU TEE December 2021, the last date for the submission of assignments is extended up to April 30.

The candidates must mention your enrolment number, name, address, assignment code and study centre code on the assignment's front page. You must obtain a receipt from the study centre for the assignments submitted and retain them. It would be advisable to have a photocopy of the assignments with you.

GUIDELINES FOR DOING ASSIGNMENTS

Attempt all questions given in each of the assignments as instructed. You will find it useful to keep the following points in mind:

Planning: First read the study material carefully, attend teleconferencing sessions and interactive radio counselling sessions conducted for the programme; if required you can obtain details from Study Centre/ Regional Centre) and then read the assignments carefully. Please go through the units on which they are based. Make some points regarding each question and then rearrange them in a logical order.

Organisation: Draw a rough outline of your answer. Be analytical in your selection of the information for your answer.

Give adequate attention to the introduction and the conclusion.

IGNOU Assignment Status: The Indira Gandhi National Open University, commonly known as IGNOU, extended the deadline for submitting assignments for the IGNOU Term-End Exam, or TEE, June 2022 sessions. The IGNOU assignment submission deadline for TEE June 2022 session is extended till May 31, 2022. The candidates of the IGNOU TEE 2022 are now being provided with some additional time to submit their assignments.

Previously, the IGNOU assignment submission last date for the Term-End Exam 2022 June session was scheduled for May 15, 2022. However, the university has revised and postponed the deadline till May 31, 2022 for students.

“With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for submission of assignments (Both in hard copy and soft copy) for the Term-End Examination, June 2022 has been further extended up to May 31, 2022,” the IGNOU official notice reads.

The University also took to its official website to share the notice of the extension of IGNOU assignment submission. It captioned the notice as, “Notification regarding the extension of the last date for submission of Assignments for TEE, June, 2022 till May 31, 2022”

Meanwhile, IGNOU was in talks when Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan graced the IGNOU 35th convocation . The event, attended by 2,91,588 students, provided degrees, diplomas, and certificates to children across the country. Mr Pradhan in the event said that the professors of the IGNOU are like Lord Hanuman, who was unaware of the powers he possessed, and asserted that their work needs to be celebrated.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline of assignment submission to 15th January 2022. The IGNOU TEE (Term End Examination) 2021 will start from 20th January 2022, directly after the submission of assignments of a particular course of undergraduate or postgraduate level programs.

The date of assignment submission has been revised many times, students must take this deadline seriously as this would be the last extended date for the submission of assignments. Initially, the deadline for submission of assignments was 31st October, then it was postponed several times to 30th November and 31st December, now it gets prolonged to 15th January 2022.

The twitter official Id of IGNOU has tweeted the news about the extension of the assignment and TEE date on 4th Janurary’2022. The submission required of assignments, project works, dissertation, fieldwork, journals, or other respective submissions.

How to Download IGNOU Assignment 2024?  

The students can download the assignment papers by following these steps: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of the university at ignou.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Student Support’ option, then click on ‘Student Zone’.

Step 3: Click on the option ‘Assignments’ and you will be redirected to the question papers.

Step 4: Select your respective course and download the assignment papers. 

Is it Compulsory to Submit IGNOU Assignment 2024?  

Assignments carry a total number of 30% marks in the overall percentage of a candidate, thus, it is compulsory for every student to submit the assignments within the stipulated time. It will increase one’s performance report on the grade card. Without assignments, the course is incomplete and one must necessarily submit it. The students must score at least 40% marks to pass and thereafter for filling the exam form to appear in the Term End Examination (TEE). 

Guidelines for Writing IGNOU Assignment 2024

Assignments constitute the continuous evaluation component of a course. They can be done in your home or workplace or library or any other place you think has the right environment. 

• It is important to write the answers in your own words. The university follows a strict “No Plagiarism” policy and it will not accept the assignments if plagiarised. 
• The study material provided to you is the best source to refer for writing answers. 
• The answers should be precise, well documented and relevant to the question. A reasonably adequate response can be presented within the required word limit.
• Whenever you receive a set of assignments, check them immediately. If there are some missing or blank pages, contact your concerned Regional Director.
• For your own record, retain a copy of all the answers to the assignments you submitted to the Coordinator of your Study Centre. It will help you in the future to prepare for Term End Examinations.

IGNOU Assignment Submission Through Online Mode:

IGNOU assignments can be submitted online mode by filling out the Google form or sending an email to the respective study centers of their respective regional center. Step-by-Step process to submit IGNOU assignments through Google form or email is as follows:

Students can follow the steps given below to submit their IGNOU Assignment using Google Forms:

• Visit the official website of IGNOU @ignou.ac.in.
• Click on “Regional Network” on the menu bar and then click on “Regional Centers” from the drop-down menu.
• Now Click on the “Regional Center’s Websites” and navigate to your respective regional center of IGNOU.
• Now visit the official website of your selected regional center’s website and click on “News and Event” on the homepage of the RC’s official website
• Now click on “Assignment Guidelines” or “Assignment Submission” where you’ll get the Google form link.
• By clicking on the Google form link, a new Google form for assignment submission will be open in a new tab.
• Now fill in all the important details such as name, enrolment number, subject code, and others.
• Upload all the scanned copies of assignment in the PDF format (make sure the file size does not exceed 100 MB) and submit the form.

IGNOU Assignment Submission through Email:

IGNOU has started accepting assignments via email. This facility might not be available for all study centers of your respective regional centers. If the Google Form submission is not available or the quota is full, students can submit their assignments by sending an email to their respective regional centers. The step-by-step process to submit IGNOU assignments via email is as follows:

• Find the official email address of your respective regional center through the official website of IGNOU under the “Regional Network” on the homepage.
• Mention all the important details of the IGNOU Assignment Front Page such as enrolment number, program name, subject code, study center code/name, session, contact details, etc.
• Attach all the scanned copies of your assignment in PDF format and send an email to your respective regional center.

After submitting the assignment via email, students will receive an acknowledgment email which might take a few hours. If you have still not received the email, check whether your study center is accepting through email or there’s a Google form link to submit the assignment. Students must note that many IGNOU Regional Centers are not sending acknowledgment emails so you don’t need to worry about it and keep checking the assignment submission status. ​

IGNOU Assignment Submission Through Offline Mode:

Students are required to visit their respective Study or Regional Centers to submit the assignments for their respective courses. It is necessary to submit the assignments before filling the Term End Examination form. Go through the following points to know more about the submission process for assignments: 

• Write your Enrollment Number, Name, Full Address, Signature, and Date on the top of the first page of your response sheet. It must look like this - 

• Read the assignments carefully and follow the instructions, if any, given along with the questions.
• Go through the units on which the assignments are based. Note the important points related to the questions and rearrange them in a logical order and write a rough outline for your answer. 
• Use A4 size paper for writing your responses and tie all the pages carefully. Allow a margin on the left side and a few lines in between each answer. This will help the evaluator to write comments on the margin. 
• Do not print or type the answers and write the responses to assignments in your own handwriting.
• You must answer each question separately on a separate set of papers. Write the question number carefully before answering.
• The completed assignment must be submitted at the address communicated to you by the Regional Center or your program coordinator.

• It is compulsory to submit the IGNOU Assignment 2024 before the term-end examinations.

IGNOU TEE June 2022: Assignment submission date extended till May 31

Ignou tee june 2022 assignment submission date has been extended till may 31, 2022. candidates can check the official notice on ignou.ac.in. .

Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the assignment submission date for IGNOU TEE June 2022. The last date to submit the assignment is till May 31, 2022. The official notice can be checked by all the appeared candidates on the official site of IGNOU on ignou.ac.in.

The official notice reads, “With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard and soft copy) for the Term-end-Examination, June 2022 has been further extended up to 31st May 2022. This issues with the approval of the competent authority.”

Earlier, the last date to submit the assignment was extended till May 15, 2022, which has again been extended. The varsity took its official twitter account to share the details.

IGNOU conducts Term End Examination in December and June every year. Ahead of the examinations candidates will have to submit the assignments either physically or online. Candidates can check for more related details through the official site of IGNOU.

IGNOU December TEE 2022: Assignment submission deadline extended till 30 November

The deadline for submitting the December TEE assignments is 30 November. Candidates can check and download the official notice at ignou.ac.in

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for assignment submission of candidates who are appearing in the December Term End Examination (TEE) this year. As per the revised dates, the deadline for submitting the December TEE assignments is 30 November. “With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for Term End Examinations, December- 2022 for both ODL and Online programmes has been further extended up to 30th November 2022,” reads the notification. Candidates can check and download the official notice from IGNOU’s main page at ignou.ac.in .

Previously, the deadline to submit the assignments for December TEE was 31 October. It is to be noted that candidates will not be allowed to appear for the December exams if they have not submitted all the required assignments. Also, no assignment will be accepted by IGNOU after 30 November 2022.

On Tuesday, IGNOU extended the application deadline for the December TEE 2022. Students can apply for the Term End Examination till 10 November 2022, without a late fee. As per the schedule, the IGNOU December TEE will begin on 2 December 2022 and end on 5 January 2023.

The TEE exams will be conducted in two shifts; the first shift will begin from 10 am to 1 pm and the second shift will commence from 2 pm to 5 pm. Candidates will be able to download the admit cards from IGNOU’s website roughly 7 to 10 days prior to the commencement of the exam.

Simple steps on how to apply for the December TEE 2022:

-Go to ignou.ac.in .

-On the homepage, search and click on the December TEE 2022 application link.

-Then, enter the login details on the portal and proceed with the application form.

-Once the form is filled, submit it and keep a printout of the same for future use.

While registering for the exam, candidates will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 200 per course. Candidates are advised to visit the official website of IGNOU on a regular basis for all the latest updates and information.
